Looking for a right-handed e-file bit specifically designed for removing gel polish? The Atwood Mellow Yellow is ideal for quickly and safely removing gel polish from rubber base, acrylic, hard gel and acrygel enhancements.
Designed to remove the gel polish colour while leaving the underlying enhancement intact, the Mellow Yellow is a great choice for infills, rebalances and colour changes where you want to preserve the existing product underneath.
The Atwood Mellow Yellow is a more affordable alternative to the Atwood “Mean” Green and features a medium grit that provides efficient yet controlled product removal. Its shape also allows for precise work around the cuticle area when used with the correct technique.
This version is designed specifically for right-handed nail technicians. A left-handed Mellow Yellow is also available separately.
For best performance, Atwood recommends using its e-file bits at 20,000 RPM or higher, together with the correct professional e-file technique.
Atwood bits are manufactured from high-quality surgical-grade stainless steel for excellent durability and wear resistance. With correct use and care, an Atwood bit can typically last approximately 6–8 months, depending on frequency of use and working hours.
About Atwood Bits
Atwood was founded in 1951 by Loren Atwood, initially manufacturing equipment for the dental industry. Under the direction of his son, Bruce Atwood, Atwood Industries later expanded into the professional beauty industry.
Today, Atwood produces a range of professional-quality e-file bits, including diamond, Z-carbide and Swiss carbide bits.
Choosing the right Atwood bit will depend on the nail enhancement product you’re working with, the task you’re performing and your preferred level of grit.
Cleaning & Care
After use, clean the bit thoroughly using a brass or nylon bit-cleaning brush. The bit can then be disinfected according to your salon’s hygiene and infection-control procedures.
Always ensure your e-file bits are completely dry before storing or placing them back into your e-file handpiece.

Shipping
All orders are sent via Australia Post or courier service once full payment has been received. Product will be shipped within 24-48 hours of payment unless you have purchased pre-order items. When you have selected pre-order items your order will not be sent until they are available.
Shipping charges will be calculated at the end of the order before payment.
We only ship within Australia and to New Zealand.
Delivery times vary depending on location and are out of our control however generally 3-12 business days unless you live in Western Australia. Tracking will be updated to your account.
We are not responsible for any delays for your order while in transit as it is out of control. We have normal parcel post as well as express post options available however flammable goods cannot be sent via Express. If you click Express and there are flammable goods in the order we will automatically change it to normal parcel post and refund you the difference. If you are unsure if you parcel can be sent via Express please email us.

Pickup is by appointment only in Alkimos. Please email us with when you would like to pickup your order. Pickup can be made from 24 hours after you have completed and paid for your order unless you have ordered pre-ordered items as they will not be available until we have received them. We suggest you make an order for the available products separate to the pre-ordered items.
Payment

Returns
We do not accept returns/exchanges. If you have received your order and items are missing or damaged please contact us within 3 business days. We will not be liable for missing items after that timeframe. If item is damaged or defective we require reasonable evidence (photo/video).
